Angela is excited to be part of the Trailblazers community and brings over 20 years of experience working with children through nature-based education, outdoor learning, and creative exploration. She is a passionate educator and Master Naturalist who believes children learn best when they are given opportunities to wonder, explore, and connect with the world around them.

Angela was born and raised in the fields of Indiana, where her love for art and nature first began to grow. Her passion for creativity led her to study Commercial and Fine Art before pursuing further studies in education after moving to Georgia. Over the years, Angela has worked in a variety of roles including naturalist, camp counselor, animal curator, event planner, and lead teacher. She also helped develop and launch a nature-based preschool program, where she spent eight years creating meaningful outdoor learning experiences and guiding young children through hands-on exploration.

In the classroom, Angela creates engaging learning experiences that blend creativity, curiosity, and connection to the natural world. She is passionate about helping children develop confidence, ask questions, and build a lifelong appreciation for the environment around them.

Outside of school, Angela enjoys hiking North Georgia trails, tending her vegetable and flower gardens, and finding creative ways to express herself through art.
