Crystal is excited to be teaching the Maple class at Trailblazers and brings over 20 years of experience in elementary and middle school education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Curriculum Design and Instruction, along with certifications in elementary education and middle school science.
Throughout her career, Crystal has taught a variety of grade levels and subjects, with a particular passion for science, literacy, and hands-on learning. She has served as a classroom teacher, science teacher, reading intervention teacher, and team leader, developing engaging curriculum and supporting students through differentiated instruction and strong relationships.
In the classroom, Crystal creates a supportive and engaging environment where students feel valued, challenged, and excited to learn. She believes that meaningful relationships and active learning experiences help students develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Outside of school, Crystal enjoys watching sports, especially soccer and baseball/softball. She loves traveling and exploring new places across the country, as well as spending quality time with her friends and family.
